De internationale poot van de Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten.

VNG International is committed to strengthening democratic local government worldwide. It is the International Co-operation Agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) .

It is a small, dynamic international company with 40 staff members in The Hague and 11 in its international project offices, as well as a large network of experts from -among others- Dutch municipalities. The organisation manages, on a yearly basis, some 50 – 60 international projects aimed at decentralisation and strengthening the capacity of local governments in developing countries and countries in transition.
